Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. The duo whose presence was considered to be a guarantee of victory for the Indian team in limited overs at one time. But now these two do not play together nor do they both get continuous opportunities in the Indian team, most of the time they both sit on the bench. Both of them are trying to get their old fame but before that both of them have received a setback. The BCCI has recently announced its annual central contract list and both these players have suffered a setback in this list.

The BCCI has demoted both these players. Both these players are currently playing in IPL-2021. Kuldeep is part of the two-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders while Chahal is playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Virat Kohli.Last year, Kuldeep Yadav got a place in a category but this time he has come in C grade. At the same time, Chahal was given B grade contract by BCCI last year. This year, he has been placed in C grade by the BCCI. According to the contract list released by the BCCI on Thursday, these two players will get one crore rupees annually due to being in C grade.

At the same time, Kuldeep was not selected in the team in the T20 series against England. He was part of the ODI team and also played two ODIs but he did not get a single wicket in both. In the ODI match played on 23 March, he gave 68 runs but could not take wickets. In the ODIs played on 26 March, he had scored 84 runs. Kuldeep played his last T20 against Sri Lanka on 7 January 2020 in Indore. In Test too, Kuldeep is longing for a place in the team.He was also a part of the Test team in Australia but did not play a single match. In England’s home Test series, he got a chance in the Test match played in Chennai, in which he could not do anything special and took only two wickets.
